I am Marvin Vekariya, I am from India. On paper, I am a Mechanical Engineer. I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, back in 2019, from Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya, Gujarat. Then, I was fortunate enough to moved to Canada for further education. Here in Canada, I have completed two Post-graduate diplomas, the first one in Practical Elements of Mechanical Engineering and the second one in Digital Communications Management from Fanshawe College, London, Ontario.
As a Mechanical Engineer, my passion for the creative aspects of my field was sparked during my college years. I was particularly drawn to the design aspect of Mechanical Engineering, and I spent a lot of time familiarizing myself with computer-aided design tools like SolidWorks and AutoCAD. As I gained more experience with these tools, I became more and more fascinated with their capabilities, and I quickly fell in love with the programs. Then, I started wanting to give life to my CAD models by making them appear better for the purpose of visualization. From there, I began exploring other creative tools like Luxion KeyShot, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator on my own. I was drawn to the endless possibilities of these programs and how they could be used to bring my ideas to life.
During this time, I discovered my passion for creating still 3D renders. I found it incredibly satisfying to take a design concept and turn it into a beautiful, photo-realistic image. This newfound love for 3D rendering helped me to find direction and purpose in my career. However, despite my growing passion for design and 3D rendering, I still hadn't quite figured out what I wanted to pursue as my career.
That all changed when I discovered my love for photography. I had always been interested in photography as a hobby, but it wasn't until recently that I realized how much I truly enjoyed it. The ability to capture a moment in time and turn it into something beautiful and meaningful was truly inspiring to me. I started experimenting with different types of photography, from landscape to portrait to product photography, and I was blown away by the possibilities.
Now, I find myself at a crossroads in my career. I have experience and skills in both design and photography, and I'm not quite sure which path to pursue. However, I am excited about the possibilities and eager to see where my passions will take me. Whether I end up pursuing a career in design, photography, or a combination of both, I am confident that my love for creativity and innovation will guide me towards a fulfilling and rewarding career.
